About Cannice Sports
Cannice is a fast-growing global brand in artistic gymnastics. We design, develop and deliver high-performance equipment for clubs, federations and major international tournaments. With our footprint in Europe, LATAM and Asia, and our production facility in China, we combine innovation with deep professional expertise to support athletes and coaches worldwide.
To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Business Director, a strong gymnastics expert, who will drive commercial performance, operational alignment and international expansion across the entire organisation.
Your Mission
As Business Director, you take ownership of the commercial and operational engine of Cannice. You lead Sales, Customer Service, Business Development and Product Marketing, and ensure these teams operate as one coherent unit with clear targets, streamlined processes and measurable impact.
You translate strategy into execution. You build structure where needed, remove inefficiencies, and ensure Cannice can scale internationally while maintaining quality, speed and customer focus. You act as the primary partner to the Managing Director in steering performance and shaping the future of the organisation.
This role is central, influential, and crucial to Cannice’s next growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership
– Lead the global Sales organisation and ensure delivery of revenue, margin and growth targets
– Develop commercial strategies for Europe, LATAM and Asia in alignment with global objectives
– Implement sales processes, forecasting discipline and performance dashboards
Cross-Departmental Alignment
– Oversee Sales, Customer Service, Product Marketing and Business Development
– Ensure smooth collaboration between commercial, marketing, technical and production teams
– Establish efficient workflows between Europe HQ and the Chinese manufacturing facility
Operational Excellence
– Improve processes, eliminate friction and elevate customer experience
– Implement scalable structures suited for a fast-growing international company
– Oversee key business metrics: OTIF performance, lead times, pricing integrity, service levels
Strategic Business Development
– Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships and market entry strategies
– Support international dealers and institutional clients (federations, event partners)
– Strengthen Cannice’s position at international competitions and major events
Organisational Development & Leadership
– Guide and mentor team leads (Sales, Customer Service, Product Marketing, BD)
– Drive a culture of ownership, performance and continuous improvement
– Contribute to the long-term organisational design of the company
What You Bring
- Deep, demonstrable experience in Gymnastics; you understand the sport from the inside out and ideally bring an established international network within the gymnastics community.
– Proven experience for similar leadership position
– A strategic thinker with hands-on execution power — comfortable switching between boardroom and operations
– Strong analytical abilities, able to build structure, processes and measurable performance frameworks
– Empathy and authority as a leader; able to unite teams and drive clarity
– Experience working with international markets
– Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
– Willingness to travel internationally
