🎯 About the Role
As a Field Support Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing, coordinating, and supporting the installation and maintenance of gymnastics equipment at customer sites and competition venues.
This a hands-on, field-based position with significant travel, where you ensure projects are completed safely, on-time, and to the highest quality standards.
💼 Key Responsibilities
🔧 Project Coordination
Plan and support gymnastics equipment installations from start to finish.
Conduct site visits before, during, and after installation projects.
Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
🛠️ Technical Support
Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair support.
Ensure all installations meet safety requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
👥 Team Leadership
Supervise field technicians and subcontractors.
Deliver training on installation best practices and safety procedures.
✔️ Quality & Compliance
Inspect installations for quality and safety compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
🤝 Customer Service
Serve as the main point of contact for clients during installation phases.
Address customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
🎓 Skills & Qualifications
Essential
Proven experience in field operations, ideally within sports or gymnastics equipment installation.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to lead and motivate field teams.
Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable
Knowledge of BS EN safety standards for sports equipment.
Experience with CAD drawings or site planning.
First Aid and Health & Safety certifications.
Technical understanding of gymnastics apparatus.
